MedTech Innovator, the world’s largest accelerator for medical technology startups, announced the 65 companies chosen for its 2025 Accelerator Cohort. The selected startups represent the top 4% of nearly 1,500 applicants from around the globe and will participate in MTI’s flagship four-month program focused on de-risking innovation and fast-tracking market access in the U.S.
The 2025 cohort features early- and mid-stage companies developing devices, diagnostics, and digital health solutions. Participants will gain access to MTI’s vast network of strategic manufacturers, investors, providers, and other stakeholders while competing for a share of $800,000 in non-dilutive funding.
“MedTech Innovator’s accelerator is a comprehensive platform for risk mitigation and value creation that helps the world’s most promising medtech startups become investable,” said Paul Grand, CEO and founder of MTI. “Over the next four months, our 2025 cohort will work closely with MTI’s extensive network of mentors and partners to advance these innovative technologies toward U.S. market access and public health benefit.”
Companies in this year’s cohort hail from 17 U.S. states and 13 countries. Finalists were chosen after 213 companies pitched at Road Tour events in Los Angeles, College Park, Md., and Dublin, receiving feedback from 430 subject matter experts.
The program will kick off June 24-26 at the invitation-only Innovator Summit in Mountain View, Calif., followed by a showcase for investors at MedTech World on June 27 in San Jose. The accelerator concludes with competitions at The MedTech Conference in October and the MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit in November.
In addition to the main program, five companies will participate in the MTI/ASPS Plastic Surgery Accelerator track, and up to eight will join the Heart and Brain Health Accelerator, hosted with the American Heart Association Ventures and Center for Health Technology and Innovation.
