Medical school perspectives: Introducing AUC School of Medicine

Mark E. Rosenberg, MD, FASN, dean of the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, shares his perspectives on education, Match 2025 and more.

The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine is a two-campus medical school offering a U.S.-style education, with basic sciences taught in St. Martin or Preston, UK, and clinical rotations completed in the U.S. or UK; students earn a medical degree and match into U.S. residencies. The school has around 1,300 students, primarily U.S. students in St. Martin and mostly Canadian students in the UK, with the majority completing clinical work in the U.S. Dean Mark E.
