Congress and health care in 2025: More regulation over tobacco and nicotine

Is the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ready to clamp down on the amount of nicotine in cigarettes? Smoking is a matter of patient choice, but lowering nicotine levels to make tobacco products less addictive could help patient health, said Rep. Greg Murphy, MD (R-North Carolina).
