Americans using social media to self-diagnose – with surprising results


Social media platform used for self-diagnosis varies by generation.

With social media playing such a large role in people’s lives, it should come as no surprise that when someone is concerned about their health, they look online for answers. A survey from Tebra looked at what platforms people used the most, how accurate their diagnoses were, and how many of them followed up with a medical professional.
