Physician payment in 2023: Alternative payment models

The 5% alternative payment models need extension.

A six-year extension on the federal alternative payment model inventive payments would help physicians move toward the goal of providing value-based care for patients, said Claire Ernst, JD, director of government affairs for the Medical Group Management Association.
