More screen time equals more problems

A study of young children by Japanese researchers found that even limited screen time at age one could lead to developmental delays in communication and problem solving. The more screen time, the greater the developmental delay. No word on whether the children mastered navigating the EHR or not.

Video games to replace Adderall

With an ongoing Adderall shortage and parents looking for answers, the FDA and the DEA issued a joint statement suggesting one alternative: video games. The specially developed games will require a doctor’s prescription, which may be hard to get since there is a doctor shortage. Hospitals may be forced to turn to games of Operation to fill the void.

Generative AI can resurrect the dead

An article in Wired overviews how generative AI can resurrect the dead by being given data about the deceased. With enough data, AI can imitate the person and give the impression to others they are still alive. While the psychological burden of this may be very high to loved ones, collections agencies are rejoicing as they can once again hound the dead person to pay their unpaid medical bills.
