Doctors are stressed. Working conditions are challenging. Burnout remains a pervasive issue, even in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. But a new level of attention being paid to the plight of burned out doctors means the search for solutions is on.
Although most physicians have said they have experienced burnout during their career, the number who say they feel burned out now has decreased for the second year in a row. While that is good news, the 5th annual Medical Economics® Physician Burnout and Wellness Survey results show there is still room for improvement.
