Burnout and consolidation: Making it easier to get mental health aid

The president of The Physicians Foundation discusses consolidation in health care and how it contributes to burnout.

The Physicians Foundation supports efforts to remove licensing and credentialing questions about physicians and clinicians seeking mental health help. States have been doing that, and it’s important progress, but misperceptions about mental health care remain among doctors, said Physicians Foundation President Gary Price, MD, MBA.
