Burnout and consolidation: Feelings of frustration may be moderating a bit

The president of The Physicians Foundation discusses consolidation in health care and how it contributes to burnout.

The 2024 Physicians Foundation survey had a noticeable decrease in the number of physicians reporting feelings of hopelessness. That’s good, but not nearly enough overall and possibly insignificant for actual doctors feeling frustrated or depressed. Physicians Foundation President Gary Price, MD, MBA, discusses this finding.
