KFF poll finds credibility gap between drug-makers and consumers.

Credibility and cost may be two reasons why your patients aren’t taking their prescription medications.

KFF Health Tracking Poll 2023: The Public’s Views Of New Prescription Weight Loss Drugs And Prescription Drug Costs,” focused partly on the emerging trend of pharmaceuticals used to treat type 2 diabetes and expanding to the weight loss industry treating people for overweight and obesity.

KFF also asked respondents about larger issues affecting the contemporary American pharmaceutical market. Among the findings: Americans don’t entirely trust medicine-makers and a growing number of patients think there’s not enough regulation on prescription drug prices.
