Nearly all kinds of physicians got a pay raise in 2023, but which specialties got the biggest bump?

Physician pay continued to rise in 2023, but some specialties saw greater salary increases than others.

The 2024 MGMA DataDive Provider Compensation report looked at 2023 data from more than 211,000 physicians and advanced practice providers.

The report lists the pay increases for various specialties between 2022 and 2023. Here are the seven specialties that saw the greatest increase.
