Burnout is a growing problem in the medicine, especially for women.
Connie B. Newman, MD, FACP, adjunct professor of medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, spoke at the American College of Physicians Internal Medicine Meeting 2021 about 10 of the reasons women in medicine experience burnout at higher rates than their male colleagues.
