Physicians can find reasons to be excited for artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies that could hold promise for helping doctors practice medicine. Anything that can help physicians spend more time in front of patients can be a good thing, said Furman S. McDonald, MD, MPH, who will become American Board of Internal Medicine president and CEO as of Sept. 1.
