Low-cost physical exams: a slideshow about 12 states with the best prices for patients

If you practice here, your patients are getting a bargain.

Primary care starts when a patient meets a physician for a physical examination.

How much does that cost? The national average is $407, with variations among the 50 states.

So, which states have the lowest prices for patients? Here is a slideshow with a dozen states where the cost of the annual physical is lower than the national average. Medical malpractice law firm Weiss & Paarz first published the figures compiled by Ohio-based health insurer Sidecar Health.
