Cost for a physical exam: a slideshow of the 12 most expensive states

Here’s the cost of getting into the exam room.

Primary care starts when a patient meets a physician for a physical examination.

How much does that cost? The national average is $407, with variations among the 50 states.

So, which state has the greatest price? Here is a slideshow with a dozen states where the cost of the annual physical is the most expensive. Medical malpractice law firm Weiss & Paarz first published the figures compiled by Ohio-based health insurer Sidecar Health.
