The concierge medicine session will be held at 4 p.m. ET on Oct. 7. It's entitled Tales from the Trenches: A Concierge Medicine Roundtable and will feature a discussion by concierge medicine physicians on the benefits of the model and how to overcome challenges.

The session will feature incite from:

  • Bradley Hunter, DO - an MDVIP-affiliated physician board certified in family medicine. His solo office is in Rockville, MD, and he has been practicing for over 19 years. Dr. Hunter graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic of the Pacific and completed his residency at Albany Medical Center. He has been acknowledged as a Top Doctor by Washingtonian for the past 16 years. Dr. Hunter is also a clinical assistant professor at Georgetown University, Department of Family Medicine and previously served as President of Potomac Physician Associates. He has also served as a healthcare advisor on the potential impact of COVID. Additionally, Dr. Hunter also served as the Tour Physician for the National Symphony Orchestra on its tour of Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.
  • James Jones, MD - an MDVIP-affiliated physician board certified in internal medicine. He has been practicing over 35 years and is part of a large multispecialty medical group in Nashville, TN. Dr. Jones graduated from the University of Alabama and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee, Saint Thomas – Midtown Hospital. His accomplishments include Best Doctors in America® and principal investigator of several drug trials. Dr. Jones currently holds multiple clinical teaching positions, serving as a clinical instructor at both the University of Tennessee School of Medicine and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He is a former President/Chairman of Heritage Medical Associates, Heritage Medical Network and Synergy Healthcare.
  • Gay Purcell, MD - an MDVIP-affiliated physician board certified in internal medicine. She has been practicing for over 25 years, and her current solo office is in Independence, MO. Dr. Purcell graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her impressive accolades include On-Time Doctor Awards, Compassionate Doctor Recognition, Patient's Choice Awards and recipient of the HCA Frist Humanitarian of the Year Award at Centerpoint Medical Center. Dr. Purcell is also an adjunct clinical professor at University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Medicine and serves as a board member of Girls on the Run of Greater Kansas City and MOCSA (Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault). She is a physician who practices what she preaches and strives to be a role model for her patients to engage in healthier lifestyles.
  • Mark Gomez, MD - an MDVIP-affiliated physician board certified in internal medicine. He has been practicing for over 15 years and is currently employed by Edward Medical Group in Naperville, IL. Dr. Gomez graduated from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center. He has received countless honors and awards, is a radio and podcast host, does public speaking, has dabbled in television, is the owner and CEO of MDG Wellness, LLC, makes time for mission work, and holds multiple leadership positions at Edward Medical Group and Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare.
