Data from the COVID tracking project on coronavirus cases, test results and more

How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests.

Here’s the latest data, updated on November 5:

Positive tests: 9,424,893

Negative tests: 123,695,129

Cumulative hospitalized: 483,680

Currently hospitalized: 52,049

Patient deaths: 225,831
