Your Challenge for 2011: Let Go

Article

The Entrepreneurial MD's December newsletter is out, and in it I tackle the issue of physicians creativity. I address what it means to "let go," because it is only by the inner act of letting go that one can truly engage in the outer act of creating. So here's your challenge for 2011: Figure out what you need to let go ... and then do it.

The Entrepreneurial MD's December newsletter tackles the issue of physician creativity.

As a physician business owner, I was surprised to discover just how satisfying the act of building a business became, alongside my "practitioner work" of coaching.

In the article, I address what it means to "let go," because it is only by the inner act of letting go that one can truly engage in the outer act of creating.

What do we have to let go of?

Is it preconceived notions, old assumptions, the expectations we have of others and of ourselves, bad habits, or simply a mix of all of the above?

I offer a challenge for you, as a physician business owner or medical-practice owner, for 2011: Pick the positive feelings you want to experience in your professional and personal life from a list … that is clearly only partially complete!

I invite you to read the article, and to set the creative, inspired tone for the upcoming year that will most benefit you.

Happy December!
