Physicians and nurse practitioners in Virginia have agreed on how they will work together to provide team-based care.

Physicians and nurse practitioners in Virginia have agreed on how they will work together to provide team-based care. A new law calls for NPs to collaborate and consult with physicians, who are designated leaders of the team. Physicians can partner with up to six NPs, who can work in locations separate from the team physician.
