In the first installment of a 4-part video series, Summit Medical Group Chair and CEO Jeffrey D. LeBenger, MD, FACS, discusses his firm's transition to electronic health records. Summit Medical Group is the largest physician-owned multispecialty medical group in New Jersey.

The transition from paper to Electronic Health Records can be a challenge for physician practices. Though the systems have many benefits, the costly change-over process requires months of work and hours of training.

In this first of four videos on the subject, Jeffrey D. LeBenger, MD, FACS, discusses his practice's EHR transition. LeBenger is chair and CEO of the Summit Medical Group, the largest physician-owned multispecialty practice in New Jersey.
