Founded in 2020, DigitalSoftMinds (DSM) has rapidly earned a reputation for delivering mission-critical solutions in life sciences, medical devices, and medical software. With expertise ranging from chip design to cloud deployment, DSM brings robust engineering capabilities to industries where precision, compliance, and zero tolerance for failure are paramount.

The partnership gives DSM access to TAO’s full range of product engineering and data and AI capabilities, including global go-to-market reach, near- and offshore delivery operations, and capital to invest in accelerators tailored to regulated industries. DSM’s clients will benefit from TAO’s global scale while continuing to receive the firm’s high-stakes, precision-focused engineering.

TAO will integrate DSM’s suite of chip-to-cloud services into its offerings, adding critical capabilities in embedded software, medical imaging, and IoT systems—all central to the next generation of medical devices.
This is TAO’s second acquisition since receiving a strategic growth investment from Vesper Company in October 2024. In June, TAO acquired Software Competitiveness International, further expanding its European presence and enhancing its capabilities in automotive, industrial, telecommunications, and aerospace engineering.
Financial terms of the DigitalSoftMinds transaction were not disclosed.
