PMD Partner HCPLive Now Offers Free CME Credit

Article

HCPLive, our network partner, recently launched a new CME portal, featuring unique CME-accredited articles covering the latest clinical and industry news for a wide range of medical specialties, all available at no cost to physicians.

HCPLive, our network partner, recently launched a new CME portal, featuring unique CME-accredited articles covering the latest clinical and industry news for a wide range of medical specialties, all available at no charge to physicians.

CME-accredited articles on HCPLive are designed to enable physicians to quickly review findings from studies published in peer-reviewed clinical journals, practice guidelines and recommendations from professional medical societies and other industry groups, and other news and information that will help doctors provide better care to their patients.

“Physicians today are busier than ever, and must balance a demanding patient care schedule with the need to remain up to date on current research and developments in their specialty,” said Mike Hennessy, founder and CEO of MJH & Associates, which owns Intellisphere. “Our new CME offerings provide the ideal way for physicians to fulfill part of their continuing education requirements quickly and easily, and at no cost.”

HCPLive is working with the Continuing Medical Education Program at the University of Cincinnati to provide this educational service to its physician audience. Kay Weigand, Program Director for the Office of Continuing Medical Education of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, says that the partnership with HCPLive “offers a unique opportunity to extend the educational mission of our institution and reach an audience of more than 200,000 physicians through HCPLive’s online and print channels. We look forward to working with the editors and physician advisors to provide unique content that helps physicians meet their continuing education requirements.”

HCPLive and the University of Cincinnati have already collaborated to produce more than a dozen accredited articles, with plans to add three new articles each week, some focusing on issues that are relevant to several medical specialties. All CME content will be available at no charge to physicians who register with HCPLive.

In addition to the ability to access these valuable resources online at the CME portal, registered users will also receive a link to a new CME article each week via an eDigest e-mail newsletter. Physicians who would like to register for free with HCPLive to access the CME articles and other valuable resources, tools, and information the site offers should visit the HCPLive registration page.

Published by Physician’s Money Digest parent company, Intellisphere LLC, HCPLive has long been a leading source of news and information for healthcare professionals. Now, with its new CME offerings, HCPLive further meets the educational needs of physicians who want to keep abreast of the latest clinical research, technology news, and developments in clinical practice.

Visit the CMR portal today to access the current CME offerings, and be sure to check back for regular updates.
