The COVID 19 pandemic is a monumental challenge for the U.S. health care system — but its also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shake up the healthcare delivery status quo, which relies on a fee for service system that is outdated and leaves both physicians and patients wanting more.

Today I’m joined by Dr Mark McClellan to discuss that opportunity. Dr McClellan is a former CMS administrator and FDA commissioner, and now serves as the Director of the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy at Duke University.

What should a post-pandemic health care delivery system look like? And what roll should primary care physicians hold in this system?
