Dr. Lorna Breen Act: Introducing the renewal

J. Corey Feist, JD, MBA, discusses the latest efforts in Washington to renew the Dr. Lorna Breen Healthcare Providers Protection Act.

The Dr. Lorna Breen Healthcare Providers Protection Act was approved by Congress and the president in 2022 for programs lasting into 2024. A renewal is necessary to continue programs that are alleviating workplace burnout for physicians and other clinicians. J. Corey Feist, JD, MBA, CEO and co-founder of the Dr. Lorain Breen Heroes’ Foundation, explains the status as of mid-March 2024.
