There is growing support for the Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act, a bill that would put “a shot clock” on insurance companies making decisions when physicians and pharmacists ask for preapprovals of coverage for treatments and medicines, said Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Georgia).
