ACIP changes on hepatitis B vaccination for infants: official language
What the official language from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the Vaccines for Children resolution states.
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recently had three affirmative votes on recommendations regarding the hepatitis B vaccine given to infants.
This slideshow presents the voting language as presented on Dec. 5, 2025, and the Vaccines for Children (VFC) resolution information as presented on Dec. 4. The voting language paragraphs are each on separate slides. The VFC resolution was presented by Jeanne Santoli, M.D., MPH, of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). On the slides, red type indicates changes from the existing language, she noted. Based on the slide numbers, the presented slides did not include No. 4. The slides were created using images captured from the ACIP webcast by the CDC on YouTube.
