ACIP changes on hepatitis B vaccination for infants: official language
What the official language states from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the Vaccines for Children resolution.
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) had three affirmative votes on recommendations about the hepatitis B vaccines given to infants.
This slideshow presents the voting language as presented on Dec. 5 and the Vaccines for Children (VFC) resolution information as presented on Dec. 4. The voting language paragraphs each are on one slide. The VFC resolution was presented by Jeanne Santoli, MD, MPH, of CDC. She explained on the slides the changes from existing language were printed in red type. Based on the slide numbers, the presented slides did not include a No. 4. The slides were created with images captured from the ACIP webcast by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on YouTube.
