David N. Gans, MSHA, FACMPE

David N. Gans, MSHA, FACMPE is a retired senior leader of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), where he spent more than four decades in roles that included Vice President of Research and Innovation and Senior Fellow for Industry Affairs. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and remains an active educator and contributor, including authoring MGMA’s Data Mine column. A former U.S. Army Medical Service Corps officer who retired as a Colonel in the Army Reserve, Gans holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame, the University of Southern California and the University of Colorado, and is a Certified Medical Practice Executive and Life Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
