Free physician bootcamp session offers tips on medical malpractice

The session Deciphering the Morse Code of Medical Malpractice will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET on Oct. 7 as part of the free two-day Physician Bootcamp business training.

The learning objectives for the session will be:

• Common reasons for lawsuits and how to avoid risky situations
• Practical advice to improve patient communication surrounding medical errors, complications and more
• What to do — and what not to do — if you physicians are faced with a patient complaint or lawsuit

Malpractice is just one of the nine topics that will be covered in the free digital bootcamp, which will be held Oct. 7 and 8. Other topics include patient relations, concierge medicine, as well as coding and documentation.
