Coronavirus case numbers in the United States: MARCH 25 update

Data from the COVID tracking project on coronavirus cases, test results and more.

How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests.

Here’s the latest data, updated on March 25:

Positive tests: 51,970

Negative tests: 292,758

Pending tests: 14,433

Number of hospitalized patients: 4,468

Patient deaths: 675
