How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests. Data on vaccination comes from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Here’s the latest data, updated on February 15:

Positive tests: 27,428,733

Negative tests: 123,180,190

Number of hospitalized patients: 67,023

Patient deaths: 475,786

Total vaccine doses distributed: 70,057,800

Patients who've received the first dose: 38,292,270

Patients who’ve received the second dose: 14,077,440
