About 100 million people in the U.S. have medical debt, and the collective amount they owe exceeds $220 billion. But what do those staggering numbers mean for the health and well-being of ordinary Americans? To shed some light on that question PayZen, a developer of health care payment solutions, surveyed 1,007 people who'd had a hospital visit or surgical procedure over the past two years about the affordability and accessibility of their care. Here is a snapshot of their findings.
