Telehealth regulations in Washington, D.C.: Physicians have a powerful voice

Congressional action could help or hurt availability of telehealth, which has grown to become a major part of the U.S. health care system.

When doctors speak up, policy makers listen, said Kyle Zebley, American Telemedicine Association vice president, public policy, and executive director of ATA Action. But politics is not a spectator sport. Physicians who advocate for telehealth have to get involved.
