Technology in your practice: Are new AI tools safe?

The number of new technologies – many powered by AI – for the medical industry is growing at a rapid pace. These new offerings claim to do everything from helping patients book appointments to creating medical notes to assisting with claims denials. But with so many options out there, how does a practice know what to invest in, if anything at all?

Medical Economics spoke with Steven Waldren, MD, chief medical informatics officers, AAFP, about how practice should approach technology integration and what he’s seeing work at practices. In this episode, Waldren talks about the safety of new AI tools.
