Pros and cons of investing in gold

Article

Determine whether gold is a safe investment.

Q: Is gold considered a safe investment?

A: Historically, when equities have experienced bear markets, investors have looked for safe havens for their investments. Gold is one such investment. Its popularity usually runs in cycles. It will experience short bursts of enthusiasm, or "frenzy," as the price soars, followed by long periods of being ignored.
