PAI: Corporate changes in the health care marketplace, part 2

Physicians Advocacy Institute CEO discusses consolidation in health care.

PAI recently commented on a request for information by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. Those federal agencies are examining how the recent history of small deals, transactions and takeovers have added up to widespread consolidation in health care. Those business conditions have effects on patient care and the profession of doctoring, said Physicians Advocacy Institute CEO Kelly Kenney, JD.
