Drug prices: Formulary inclusion vs. formulary placement

In the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program, the Inflation Reduction Act guarantees formulary inclusion, but not formulary placement. That’s a distinction that affects formularies that are tiered, making drugs more or less accessible to patients.
