Data from the COVID tracking project on coronavirus cases, test results and more

How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests.

Here’s the latest data, updated on October 14:

Positive tests: 7,817,857

Negative tests: 103,943,238

Cumulative hospitalized: 426,255

Currently hospitalized: 36,034

Patient deaths: 207,557
