Congressional perspectives: Changes to Medicare Advantage

Some health care policies and programs are antiquated.

Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Georgia) said he would like to see a total review of the intentions, goals and purposes of Medicare Advantage, and if it is achieving those now. That’s not the only federal program related to health care that needs more congressional oversight, he said.
