Six months into the COVID-19 crisis, its impact on physicians is becoming clearer. In its latest Survey of American Physicians, The Physicians Foundation focused on how the pandemic is affecting doctors’ livelihoods, practices, and views of the profession’s future. The survey, conducted in July by the physician staffing firm Merritt Hawkins on behalf of The Physicians Foundation, drew more than 3,100 responses. Highlights of the results follow.
