Since COVID-19’s arrival in the U.S., states have differed widely in how quickly and forcefully they have acted to slow its spread. Beginning in mid-March, the website WalletHub.com has tracked and ranked states’ responses to the pandemic, as well as factors heightening residents’ vulnerability to the disease.WalletHub based its rankings on 51 metrics in three broad categories: “Prevention & Containment,” “Risk Factors & Infrastructure” and “Economic Impact.”Read on for highlights.
