Data from the COVID tracking project on coronavirus cases, test results and more

How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests.

Here’s the latest data, updated on September 25:

Positive tests: 6,941,911

Negative tests: 88,239,824

Cumulative hospitalized: 400,840

Currently hospitalized: 30,043

Patient deaths: 194,852
