Data from the COVID tracking project on coronavirus cases, test results and more

How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests.

Here’s the latest data, updated on October 13

Positive tests: 7,770,673

Negative tests: 103,139,241

Cumulative hospitalized: 424,236

Currently hospitalized: 35,056

Patient deaths: 206,881
