Data from the COVID tracking project on coronavirus cases, test results and more

How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests.

Here’s the latest data, updated on November 9:

Positive tests: 9,871,751

Negative tests: 127,823,642

Cumulative hospitalized: 494,349

Currently hospitalized: 56,768

Patient deaths: 229,724
