90th annual Physician Report: Despite challenges, doctors remain productive

A slideshow with data on physician productivity and medical practice staff 

Both internists and family physicians reported seeing more patients per week in 2018 than 2017, but these results are still well below 2012 levels. Physicians working in a hospital in-patient setting saw the biggest increase in the number of patients seen, while those in private practice saw the smallest.
