Physicians have a fiduciary responsibility to their patients. Corporations have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders. There is a fundamental difference in those interests and when corporate entities control so much of health care, it can undermine the relationship between doctors and patients, said Physicians Advocacy Institute CEO Kelly Kenney, JD.
