Seven out of 10 primary care physicians report that they still would choose a career in primary care today, according to a survey by medical information software maker Epocrates.
The satisfaction rate is an increase from past years-up from 28 percent in 2007 and 60 percent in 2009.
Epocrates conducted the survey of 1,060 primary care physicians on a range of issues related to healthcare and practicing medicine. Their responses were compared with a separate survey of five specialties.
