Look beyond traditional routes for personnel

Article

Learn how to get the best employees in today's economy.

Q: Hiring has been very tough recently. Despite the down economy, we're not seeing great candidates. Do you have any advice about finding good personnel?

First, you must scrutinize the competitiveness of your pay and benefits package to ensure that you're attracting high-quality candidates who will be able to cope with the detail and ambiguity of most medical office jobs. Also, you want to create an inviting and supportive work team that will appeal to many workers who are unhappy with larger, more impersonal companies.
