More than 110,000 medical providers have attested to meaningful use after implementing electronic health record (EHR) systems, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Only 3 months ago, CMS estimated it would reach 100,000 by the end of this year. About 48% of hospitals have achieved meaningful use, CMS adds.
