How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests. Data on vaccination comes from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Positive tests: 28,520,365

Negative tests: 107,957,471

Number of hospitalized patients: 45,462

Patient deaths: 508,665

Total vaccine doses distributed: 107,028,890

Patients who've received the first dose: 52,855,579

Patients who’ve received the second dose: 26,957,804
