Coding for ring entrapment, removal

Unfortunately, even though there are CPT codes for simpler procedures, there is currently no code for ring removal or entrapment.

Q: Recently, I've had to deal with two cases of ring entrapment-the first such cases I've had in nine years. Coding for the procedures was a problem. The first case I coded as finger pain and swelling, but the second was simply a ring stuck on the finger. What CPT code should I use?
